Magic storage mod terraria

After a couple days I just decided to use Cheat Sheet and 'craft' it. After removing one demonite tier and placing a new hellstone one, the storage heart didn't register it. I've tried everything described after multiple server restarts and in single player as well. If anyone else has solved this it would be greatly appreciated.
