The triggers on the Xbox One controller work by having a magnet on the trigger itself and a sensor on the board. The closer the magnet gets to the sensor the more "pressed" the trigger is. Either there is something stuck inside your RT keeping the magnet from reaching the sensor or the piece that connects the magnet to the button might be bent.
