I did blood runes most of the way to 99 and have 300k+ (over 100 hr of scythe use). I don't have a scythe or sang yet, but even if I get them I will use sparingly because they are expensive and I don't want to craft/buy a bunch more blood runes (mostly would just use bloods for ancient spells and scythe for special occasions).
